I took off my posts on Ozinetics cause it was making no sense to me lately.
However, things I have been up to in SL this week include the Zaara Style Contest. Here is one of my entries.

Zaara has been having a mega sale lately, and I bought lots of awesome stuff from the store. I just learnt about their contest and made my entry, capturing the above shot at my fav old sim Mudshake at the Frieda house.
My shopping addiction this week was kindly funded by this lil’ one.

LM: HappyMood
This sim may not be unfamiliar to a lot of folk on SL. All around SL you will find creations of the artist behind the HappyMood sim. The giant animated white bunnies that blink and wrinkle their nose, the tiny birds that chirp, the lamps that remind you of tinkerbell fairy from Peter Pan. If you haven’t seen any of these, you must visit this sim, or if you have ever read a fairytale as a child, this sim is a must visit.

LM: Mudshake Plus
The mudshake plus sim is not just a home store, it has so much artwork, paintings created by Isolahara Catteneo, you have to see it to understand this artist.
There are houses suited to different styles, and I am sure everyone will find homes here that are highly appealing.
Grunge, vintage, colors, hippy chick its all here. I have taken a few pictures here.

These are just a few of the eclectic mix of homes you will find here. The thought and detail involved in each of them is amazing. There is so much to explore and see on these two sims.
I managed to stumble upon the Ancient Mayan RP sim. This sim seems to be loosely based on the movie Apocalypto. It is a setting for ancient Mayan role play with the natives and the conquistadors that land over their land. RP seems to not have begun yet, but the sim seems to be built and its a highly detailed build, a must see for all architecture and history lovers.

LM: Erie Island – Haunted RP sim
Postcards from a haunted town
Erie Island – Haunted RP sim – Ranked best place to RP under the RC Awards. I got to watch some of the roleplays happening there and I must say the setting to the RP is fun and interesting.
LM: Emvee Cuba
I decided to pay a visit to the Emvee Cuba sim after reading about it at Tribe’s blog. I am so glad I went there. This is one of the most breathtakingly real builds I have seen on Second Life. I could not find the little cafe that served sangria and chips as mentioned on Tribe’s blog, however I got to see some amazing sights on this sim.

There are narrow pathways built that make you walk through the rest of the city. Above is the picture of the chapel and below a picture of the chapel within.

Update: I finally found the little cafe and took a picture of it. There are a few paintings at the back. A breakfast menu hung right in the front, with some cookies, donuts, bagels and fresh fruit at the counter. I love the hanging ceiling fans, such attention to detail!

I decided to pay a visit to the Lost Gardens of Apollo, that is ranked highly on the RC Awards list. It seems a nice place to come along, or on a date. Beautiful and scenic builds, a nice podium high in the sky to dance too.

I don’t know if this place is loosely based on the Hanging gardens of Babylon. But there are a few similarities. Took the above pic using one of Emerald Viewer’s awesome windlight setting.

Sadly, there was one guy dressed up like an alien, trying to grief the couples dancing on the podium.
When I first rezzed, my default av was all white, with a strange hair shape. I asked for help from some freebie groups and I managed to get a whole new look for hardly anything.
